Johnny Casino Grease Live
Joe Jonas-fronted band DNCE have been tapped to play Johnny Casino and the Gamblers in the upcoming live telecast of Grease on Fox. Fans of the musical will remember them as the band that performs at Rydell High’s school dance. They play the soundtrack to the school’s big dance-off, performing songs like “Born to Hand Jive”, “Hound Dog” and “Blue Moon”.
DNCE join a talented group of already-announced performers including Julianne Hough as Sandy, Aaron Tveit as Danny Zuko, Carly Rae Jepsen as Frency and Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo.
Boyz II Men will also make an appearance, playing a trio of Teen Angels.
The show airs on January 31st on Fox.
